Heather and Eric were married on October 15th at one of the most beautiful venues I've ever seen, Hacienda de las Flores in Moraga.
Their 80's style wedding was surely one to stand out. From the unique bridal gown to the finest smallest details, and centerpieces - everything was so unique and so much FUN!
The venue setting, so tranquil and secluded was definitely one of my favorite - especially the way it looks in the fall, gorgeous! Everyone had an amazing time celebrating this beautiful couple.

Laura Beth & David were married on 09.10.2011 - one of the most memorable dates this year. The venue they chose was a nice, small winery - Hecker Pass Winery in Gilroy. It was our first time shooting at that location and we loved everything about it. Laura Beth & David planned their wedding carefully and for a long time. The result: their wedding was simply stunning, with lots of amazing visual details and so much happiness.

Wedding season is flying by this year! We've shot some amazing weddings with a lot of great couples this year. Kristina and Shawn were certainly one of them. This couple were married on August 27, 2011 at the beautiful Cypress Manor in Monte Sereno. Kristina is a wedding planner herself, so it's needless to say that this wedding was extra glamourous and sophisticated - all of the little beautiful details, and final touches were Kristina's work! I wish I could squeeze more footage into this short Highlights piece, just to show more of the details... Everything was simply amazing! I have to personally thank Kristina and Shawn for putting their complete trust in our services, I felt very honored because I know that Kristina, being a wedding planner herself, could probably choose any top notch videographer of the Bay Area for her stunning wedding. And I was so honored to be a part of this special wedding, and I really appreciate this. Congratulations to Kristina and Shawn, and all the best wishes from the bottom of my heart.

Veranica and Wardi had a very intimate, cozy, outdoors wedding at the Clos La Chance winery - one of my favorite venues ever! All the elements were so thought through - so beautiful and inviting. My favorite part is the outdoor reception: with its stunning sun set, candle lighting, and the warm gentle breezes... It was a spectacular night, filled with so much happiness.

NICOLE & TOFAN - PERSIAN WEDDING AT THE SILVER CREEK COUNTRY CLUB

Nicole & Tofan were married on July 16th 2011 at the magnificent Silver Creek Country Club in San Jose. Their Persian Sofreh Aghd ceremony was so beautiful and unique. A couple of the traditions promote sweetness in their life. The first is the Kalleh Ghand where family will grind two large sugar cones over the heads of the couple. This symbolizes sweetness and happiness while just after the ceremony is complete, honey is consumed to promote and ensure sweetness in life.

I have to say that I personally really enjoy Persian weddings because of all the beautiful, traditional elements involved. Just look at all these amazing details and elements showcased during ceremony and reception.

Amazing DSLR Video

As of September 2011, we switched completely to shooting with DSLRs ONLY, no more video camcorders... the HD video quality from DSLR 1920x1080 is the most stunning! The film-like depth of field is absolutely amazing, where foreground objects are in focus while background objects are out of focus. What a great look! Today we are using multiple cameras during every shoot: Canon 5D mark II, Canon 7D and Canon 60D

Derek and Jenn is one of the most beautiful, genuine couples I've ever worked with. It was such a delight to be a part of their wedding on June 24th at the Creekside of Los Gatos Terrace.
This was our first time working at this beautiful venue in Los Gatos, and I found it to be a real unique, peaceful place surrounded by thousands of oak trees. Very whimsical, and so close to nature... it reminds me of the famous Nestldown.
This wedding was truly inspiring. Congrats to Derek and Jenn, they had a party of their life time.

SOPHIA & ARCHIE - GREEK ORTHODOX WEDDING HIGHLIGHTS 06.18.2011

This was our second Greek wedding filmed on June 18th. Sophia and Archie had a big, and stunning Greek Orthodox wedding at the Ascension Cathedral in Oakland. Reception followed at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton. Draped in floral arrangements, spectacular lighting, and artistic layout, the guests eyes were busy taking it all in. Once the delicious food was finished, the real party began. If you have never been to a Greek wedding, dancing is by far one of the most spectacular things to see and take part in.

Congratulations to both Sophia & Archie. This whole event was one very special, big celebration and merging of two big, beautiful families.

A LOVE STORY VIDEO...

We had so much fun with Mafalda and Dominic during this shoot. They were both given about 6-8 questions to answer, and we interviewed them separately - that allowed us to make a nice story by using their answers. We just presented this video at their wedding reception and it was a big hit!

What is a “Love Story” and how long does it take to produce one?  

A Love Story is a video that we shoot and produce before your wedding. What it contains is entirely up to you, although we have lots of experience and plenty of good ideas to lend should you want them. It can be a story of how you met, how you planned your wedding, your favorite romantic spots, or just the two of you enjoying each other—taking a walk, playing around, dancing, kissing. It takes anywhere from three to ten hours to film, depending on the story that you want to tell, the locations, and so on.

I just met a wonderful couple for an interview; they are planning a gorgeous wedding in the spring of 2012. I have to say I was obviously honored that they placed a video on the top of their priority list. Wow it felt so great! We ended up talking for about close to an hour, which is longer than the average. They told me they really got a lot of good information and tips from me, and were impressed with the level of my experience, not only regarding a video, but in planning a wedding overall. It seems I changed their perspective about hiring a wedding coordinator.
I know I mentioned it before in my previous posts and it’s worth repeating: A good wedding/event planner is an invaluable asset that will help you save time and money. A wedding is a massive undertaking that has many interlocking components. When a wedding is running smoothly, I know it because of the diligence and hard work of the coordinators and the team they’ve assembled. So to all the brides out there: please consider hiring a professional coordinator/planner. You’ll be glad you did. These are the planners that we highly recommend:

JENNIE AND TYLER'S WEDDING AT THE NESTLDOWN...

Jennie and Tyler were married on November 20th at the Nestldown (Los Gatos). They had planned for an outdoor wedding, but the down poor of rain kept that from happening. Luckily they were able to move everything indoor in the barn where the fire was so warming and beautiful to look at. While it wasn’t their preferred spot, they were able to still hold an AMAZING celebration.   The rain eventually stopped long enough for us to sneak outside and grab a few shots. It was a bit chilly and a bit wet, but they were still smiling and happy - and the important part is they are now MARRIED!! What a beautiful couple, and what an amazing, unique wedding it was.

Ceremony was held at the Church of the Nativity in Menlo Park. This church was extra beautiful and with lots of natural light on the inside - we loved filming there!

Introducing Mr. and Ms. Lau! Angenette and Jeremy were married at St. John's Presbyterian Church in San Francisco. It was an amazing merging of two beautiful families with different backgrounds: Filipino and Chinese. The reception took place at the Empress of China in Chinatown and the whole wedding party, and all the guests had a real good time.

Bernadet and Jason tied the knot on July 10th, 2010 - it was an amazing celebration - a mix of Assyrian and Mexican cultures. The bride and groom planned a little flavor from each of their homelands. A Mariachi band played at the reception area while a Persian band brought out the dancing on the dance floor. Masood the DJ then mixed in the music for the night. What an amazing day it was! Ceremony was held at the St. James Orthodox church in Milpitas. The reception was held at the Hyatt in Santa Clara.

Kai and Cissy got married at the beautiful Kohl Mansion in Burlingame. On their wedding day they were surrounded with their whole family and lots of friends. Their wedding was outside and their setting was very romantic.

After the ceremony there was no traveling necessary as the reception was held right on site where they could enjoy time with everyone. The warm day led into a gentle night where people danced inside and hung out by the fire. Kai and Cissy are an amazing couple who had an equally amazing wedding. I was excited to be able to capture their day.
